Reconciliation: Wittmann and Mortara cook in Geneva
Last week, DTM-Champion Wittmann and his main rival in the 2016 season, Edoardo Mortara, settled minor controversies that had emerged during the course if the fierce battle for the title. To make the reconciliation possible, Wittmann extra travelled to Geneva for a conversation with Mortara in a restaurant.
After the talking, Wittmann and Mortara also let action speak. In the kitchen of a Sushi restaurant, the two jointly tried to produce Japanese delicacies. And although it needs a training of six to ten years to become a true Sushi Master, the two DTM aces delivered in fine style and were happy with their achievements – as you can see in our photo gallery.
At the end of the day, the two drivers jointly enjoyed several entertaining hours. And both didn’t exclude the possibility that they are going to once again battle it out for the title with one another, in the coming season. “Why not?” asked Wittmann. “He is one to always reckon with. But first of all I’m curious to find out how Edo will deliver in the Mercedes camp.”
