Misano

Friday, 7. June 2019 to Sunday, 9. June 2019

Following several modernisations, the ‘Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli’ now features a track length of exactly 4,226 metres and 16 corners – ten right-handers and six left-handers. Consequently, there isn’t much room for high-speed sections. The length of the longest straight amounts to just 565 metres. The circuit located at the Adriatic Riviera in the Emilia-Romana, Italy, was opened in 1972. Since 2007, the races at the Italian Spa have been contested clockwise. Misano is a challenging state-of-the art circuit with different corner radiuses and many changes in direction. In the 2018 season, the racetrack in the province Rimini was the venue of the first night races in the long history of DTM.

Race highlights

The DTM carries out two races on all race weekends. The distance is always 55 minutes plus one lap.

Formel 3

Since the debut season of ‘New DTM’ in 2000, Formula 3 has been a constant in its support programme in every single year.

The all new Formula W, the first single-seater series solely for girls and young women, will contest its races for the time being exclusively in the DTM support programme.

The Porsche Carrera Cup France is in no way inferior to its German counterpart and is one of the most attractive sports brands in the world.

In the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup, super sports cars from Ingolstadt are entering the race.
