In no particular order, the answers will be published over the next weeks as a part of our series ’24 drivers – 24 questions’. In the 10th part of our series, the best BW driver of the 2015 season answers our questions. Describe your 2015 season by dint of six terms: Very good team work, challenging, difficult, funny, interesting, friends.

My nicest DTM moment in 2015: Pole position at the Norisring

My worst/most disappointing DTM moment in 2015: Unfortunately, there were several races where the performance of our package just wasn’t good enough.

My personal highlights of the year 2015 (both private and job-related): The Spa-Francorchamps 24-Hour Race with Alex Zanardi. I had a lot of fun plus the chance of getting to know Alex better.

That’s what annoyed me in particular (both in my private life and job-related): ): The collision with Edoardo Mortara at the Nürburgring as it cost me important championship points.

My favourite DTM colleague: Martin Tomczyk. You can have a lot of fun with Martin and he is very outspoken.

My most exciting/most thrilling 2015 DTM weekend: The weekend in Moscow where I finished third on Saturday and second on Sunday.

The biggest surprise of the 2015 season, for me: When I was called and told that I was going to contest the Spa 24-Hour Race with Alex Zanardi.

This change / these changes I would love to see for the 2016 DTM season: Softer tyres that wear off quite a lot after five or six laps. This would make overtaking easier and offer your additional strategic options. Furthermore, I’d welcome a limited DRS use for every driver from the start of the race what would force us to opt for a certain strategy. And in the qualifying session, a SuperPole with one fast lap would be fantastic!

If I hadn’t become a motor racer I would have liked to be a …?: That’s something I never thought about.

That’s what I like particularly: Motor racing, to play golf, to do sports, Biathlon. I generally like to take my body to its limits.

That’s what I don’t like at all: I hate having nothing to do.

The motto of my life: Never give up!

My goal for the 2016 DTM season: To squeeze the maximum out of myself and my car.

My favourite racetrack: Oh, that’s a long list: II love the Norirsring, for instance. It has got a lot of bumps, there’s no room for mistakes and the atmosphere is outstanding. Daytona as historic 24h-race venue also is thrilling. Sebring features a lot of technical challenges for a driver and Spa is a really multifaceted circuit. Hockenheim is fun as it has got any kind of corners. Furthermore, it offers great overtaking opportunities. When it comes to the circuit and the landscape, Spielberg is my favourite. And the Nürburgring always has been one of my favourites.

My role model/s: Roger Federer, Michael Schumacher

My favourite sportsman/sportswoman: Roger Federer, Tiger Woods

My favourite song: Play Hard (David Guetta), Dancing in the Dark (Bruce Springsteen)
