David Coulthard brings Aston Martin Red Bull Racing demo to Brands Hatch
You can take Brands Hatch out of Formula 1 (back in 1986, fact fans), but you can’t take Formula 1 out of Brands Hatch.
How come? Because, on Sunday August 11th, the legendary Kent track will once again reverberate to the howl of a grand prix car – appropriately enough around the mighty 2.4-mile grand prix circuit.
British Formula 1 grandee David Coulthard and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing join the DTM weekend on Sunday for a sensational high-speed demo that’s sure to please the crowds.

Gerhard Berger, chairman of ITR, DTM’s parent company, said: “Racing a Formula 1 car around Brands Hatch was a phenomenal thrill. Corners like Paddock and Clearways are special, but the fast right-handers of Hawthorn and Westfield were – and still are – corners that require massive commitment.
“To be able to bring a state-of-the-art F1 demo to Brands, and with an old friend like David behind the wheel, gives a fantastic ‘extra something to the fans. And, with DTM’s new turbo cars also racing on the GP track, this is likely to be a fantastic weekend for the sport.”
