Dumbreck returned behind the wheel
At Zandvoort, former DTM driver Peter Dumbreck returned behind the wheel of a DTM car. As driver of the Opel race taxi, he completed some fast laps at the Dune circuit, with several guests in the passenger seat. The Scotsman contested five DTM seasons and was an Opel works driver in 2003 and 2004. “It’s great to be back in the cockpit of a DTM car,” said the 31-year old professional. Currently, Dumbreck is particularly happy about every kilometre he can drive in a racing car as he is preparing to contest the final spurt in the Japanese GT Championship, beginning this weekend. There, he is going to compete in the final four endurance races as new team-mate of Naoki Hattori.
