Ekström wins at Brno, Frentzen secures third place

The reigning DTM Champion, Mattias Ekström (Audi) won the fourth round of the 2005 DTM season, held at the 5.403-kilometre circuit at Brno, Czech Republic, with his team-mate, Tom Kristensen, taking the runner-up position. Thanks to his first win in the 2005 season, Ekström also gained the championship lead. Third place was secured by former Formula One ace Heinz-Harald Frentzen (Opel), while Gary Paffett (Mercedes-Benz) finished fourth after having completed the 30 laps and 162.090 kilometres respectively.
