Opel spontaneously invites pupils
When Opel works driver Laurent Aiello arrived at the ‘Senftenberger See’ for a photo shooting, he was truly surprised to be immediately recognised by a group of German pupils who asked him for autographs. And it came as an even bigger surprise when one of the children welcomed Aiello in his native tongue: “Je m’apelle Max,” said one of them. “I wasn’t aware that there are French lessons already in the first classes of the German secondary schools,” said Aiello. While the 2002 DTM Champion patiently posed for the pictures that can be seen from the DTM round at Spa-Francorchamps, in the second issue of the DTM Magazine, Opel spontaneously invited the thrilled pupils to visit the race. The young motor racing enthusiasts from Senftenberg will make the trip to the EuroSpeedway by bicycle to witness the atmosphere of the fascinating, popular touring car series on Saturday and Sunday.
