No other race series worldwide is combining tradition and modernism in such a perfect way as the DTM. Here, young and elder spectators get to see fascinating motorsport. The touring car races are challenging, spectacular and many legends are surrounding them. The DTM can’t be compared with anything else. It sparks emotions and invites to dream. Brave overtaking manouevres, continuous on-track action, pushing at the limit. Anyone who has ever attended a race is always happy to come back. The DTM is unique.

Take it to the max

Nine legendary circuits including five rounds outside of Germany, a total of 20 action-packed races. The season starts and ends at Hockenheim. The DTM is everywhere at home.

A support package with plenty of variety turns every DTM weekend into an experience. From junior single-seaters to classic DTM racers, boredom doesn’t exist in the DTM.

Frequently, the DTM is welcoming internationally famed music acts like Die Fantastischen Vier, The Rasmus or Anastacia at the track. They are a popular addition to the programme.

Spectators get a close view of the frenetic action in the pit boxes. For every manufacturer, one pit box is open and allows for a view of the team’s most important area.

There is a pit walk on Saturday and Sunday during which the spectators can watch the pit stop practices from the teams from up close.

At the track is where it matters. The smell of fuel, burnt rubber and brakes that are pushed to the limit. That is the DTM for you. First-class motorsport, extremely close competition. The drivers and teams from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-AMG are battling for every thousandth of a second at the track. It is about consistent precision at the limit for man and machine. Duels between drivers like old hand Gary Paffett, the young and wild Lucas Auer or the brash rookie Robin Frijns electrify the crowds.

The four-litre V8 engines deliver over 500 horsepower. Less aerodynamics, more power and new tyres: that is the recipe for success in 2018.

An illustrious field of 18 is competing in the DTM. With Rast, Wittmann, Paffett, Di Resta, Spengler and Rockenfeller, there are six champions on the grid.

With Audi, BMW and Mercedes, three proven and successful German premium brands are staging thrilling battles and fair competition in the DTM.
